What is it?
Urban change is when a city changes. Buildings are built, torn down, or remodeled. Streets are added or changed. People move in or out. In the 1700s and 1800s, many European cities changed a lot. Old walls were torn down, and new neighborhoods were built. The painting of building demolition shows one moment of urban change.
