Central America is a land bridge between North and South America. It includes countries like Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Panama, and others. It has tropical rainforests, dry forests, mountains, and coastlines. The Southern Cantil lives in the dry forests of Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Honduras.
Why it matters
Central America has high biodiversity. Many species are found only there. Protecting its habitats is important for conservation.
