What is it?
Tiles are flat pieces that are often square or rectangular. They are used to cover surfaces and can be decorated with patterns. Ceramic tiles are made from clay and glazed. The fireplace you captured has many decorative tiles with nature patterns. Tiles can be both functional (protecting the wall) and artistic. The Rhead tiles are a beautiful example of ceramic tile art.
