Stela
A stone slab with carvings or writing, often used as a monument or gravestone.
What is it?
A stela (plural: stelae) is a flat slab of stone, usually carved with pictures and writing. In ancient Egypt, stelae were placed in tombs or temples. They could show the dead person with gods, tell stories, or record important events. The stela you saw belonged to Thutmose and shows scenes from his funeral. The child's reflection describes it as a funeral stela with rituals and interactions with gods.
